Become a Superhero This June!

Become a Superhero Challenge 30 Days

Have you ever wanted to become a superhero? Well, now’s your chance!

Gamerfaith is excited to announce a totally free 30 day devotional experience that is designed to challenge followers of Christ to:

  • Face their fears
  • Help a suffering world in the name of Jesus our Lord
  • Become physically and mentally stronger
  • Spend time enjoying God’s presence
  • Learn scripture
  • Put our faith in action
  • Seek first His kingdom
  • And plug into God’s love, to power-up!

This isn’t for our glory, or your glory. (After all, most superheroes hide their identity)

Matthew 6:1-4 (ESV)

1 “Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. 2 “Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

This is for God’s glory!

Will you strap on your mask and fight?

How Does the ‘Become a Superhero’ Challenge Work?

In the month of June 2014 Gamerfaith.com will be publishing short superhero themed articles for 30 days. These articles will include Bible passages and a short devotion to help get your super-powered blood flowing. In other words, we want to get you motivated to seek God’s kingdom.

These challenges will be posted to the Gamerfaith.com website, and sent to Gamerfaith Warriors who have subscribed by email.

Each day will include:

  1. Scripture to read
  2. A short devotional
  3. A few daily challenges/missions to complete

How Do I Sign Up?

First off, if you’re like me, you may be suspicious of this kind of thing. Let me say up front that:

  • This won’t cost any money
  • I’m not going to try and sell you a book I wrote
  • This isn’t going to bombard you with advertisements

The goal of this challenge is to help motivate people to stand up for what they believe, and fight for the things that matter. I’m sort of a geek, and I like superheroes. That’s why I chose this theme.

If you are interested in accepting this challenge you have a few options:

The most convenient way to participate is probably just to subscribe to Gamerfaith. All you have to do is enter and submit your email address in the box located in the top right portion of this page. It takes like 5 seconds.

A subscription is free. It’s not spammy (mmmm spam). Typically you will get one email a week that includes a devotional. In the month of June, however, you will get roughly one email a day that includes a short daily challenge. This is probably the best way for many people to keep track of challenges, stay motivated, and actually complete the program!

If you don’t want to subscribe, you can like us on facebook or follow us on Twitter.

OR, you can just swing on by Gamerfaith.com everyday in the month of June to check out the posts.

I hope you guys are half as excited as I am to participate in this challenge! I pray that it will be a powerful experience that helps us to focus on God, help others in the name of Jesus, and experience more purpose in our lives.

love you guys! Praying for you!

-Caleb

P.S. If you think this challenge is cool, feel free to tell your friends about it by sharing this page and/or using #BecomeASuperhero! Have a great day!
